7 years ago, I was struggling, hard. I thought I was the only mom in the world who couldn’t get it together, who wasn’t really enjoying motherhood. I was a mom to 3 kids 3 and under while also working towards adding a 4th through adoption.

I woke up every day already too tired to take on what lay ahead of me - a giant to do list, kids who wanted more of their Mommy, and a burden of stress that never let up and then I felt guilty for feeling that way. After all, this was the life I’d always wanted.

I felt like I was drowning and wasn’t sure how to get a hold of the life preserver. I was at my wits end and needed something to help me through the day.

I thought I needed my kids to change for me to be happy but that was so far from the truth. They are who they are supposed to be.

I needed to change my thoughts. I needed to change the way I was thinking about the circumstances I had in my life.

I found life coaching and binged all the podcasts and recordings I could. I finally found some tools that could help ME show up as the mom I wanted to be.

I saw incredible things happen in my life not only as a mom, but a wife, daughter, sister and friend.

I am by no means sailing through this crazy journey of motherhood. I still have bad days. I still have days where we stay in jammies all day, or I let my kids watch TV just so I can take a nap. But that is part of the journey, we need to have bad days to appreciate the good days.
